#LivetoLive

“Live to live” my shrink said to me.  I had relayed my story about the surgeon who removed my gallbladder telling me my liver was enlarged which can cause you to drop dead. I have a fear of death, I was having a “moment ” in her office. We are all going to drop dead at some point she retorted.  You have to live to live.  I totally understood.  You are not living if you are worried about dying. It was an aha moment for me.  What do you think?

Cheers

  1. I have a reoccurring fear of dying since my mom died. I’ve felt I had to do everything quick before I go. I’m learning the happy-medium with therapy. “Live to Live” sounds good to me!!! 🙂

    • I’m glad you like it! I tell you when she said that to me in her office it was like a light bulb went off. I am currently at the conference in Phoenix getting ready to learn how to make my site and blog better! I am so excited that I made myself come alone. Big step for me! I am sure I will be writing about it. Thank you for the comment and like. I hope your move went smooth and that stress is in your rear view mirror!

  2. Live to live. Live to love. Live to be fully alive. Yes! I work daily to hold onto the truth that life and time are valuable and that the present moment, now, is the real deal. The past can eat one up with regrets. Not going there. The future is speculation at best. Not going there. I need to rest in the present as it unfolds. Sounds simple enough but it is the work of a lifetime! Thanks for sharing, Marlene. And good morning 😀
